CUET UG is an all-India examination conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) designed to admit students into all undergraduate programs in all Central Universities and other Universities. CUET offers a uniform platform and equitable possibilities to applicants nationwide, especially those from rural and other remote places, and supports the development of stronger connections with the universities. The candidates can participate in the admissions process for numerous Central Universities by taking just one exam.
Admissions in multiple Universities are based on CUET scores and not on 12th board scores. It is a Computer Based Test (CBT) and comprises 4 sections – [Language (Sections 1A & 1B), domain-specific subjects (Section 2), and General Test (Section 3)]. One has a choice of selecting a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 10 subjects from the three sections. Students have to write their exams in a minimum of one or more slots depending on the number of subjects they have chosen.
