ABOut CUET 2024

Common University Entrance Test is the abbreviation of CUET or CUCET, operated by the National Testing Agency (NTA). This particular entrance test evaluates students and gets them into the UG programs at Top Central Universities across India, namely Delhi University (DU), Jamia Milia, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), and many more are in the list.
Despite writing a lot of entrance exams for individual UG programs, CUET has become a boon for the UG aspirants from the central government. Now, it’s one exam and many university options for students. Thus making it imperative for the students to prepare well, get good scores, and grab admissions at top universities.

How difficult is it to crack the CUET exam?

CUET exam’s level of difficulty is regarded as moderate for an average student. One should expect their exam to be highly challenging if they don’t adequately prepare or review the courses and themes. The student’s level of preparation for the exam and how much review he or she has done are the deciding factors.

what is the CUET exam pattern?

The CUET comprises 3 sections, language, domain subjects & the general test. The question breakdown is 50, 50, 60 questions in each section respectively. Every correct answer gives +5, with a negative -1 for each wrong answer, & a zero for every unattempted answer

In case of tie in CUET score who gets the seat in Du?

If by chance marks for the best five subjects are also the same, in that case, age will act as a tie breaker. The older applicant will get the seat” said Mr. Singh. Thus, the tie breaker policy for DU admission through CUET will be as per the Class 12 board examination marks of the students.

Who can appear for CUET?

Aspiring candidates must have passed 10+2 with a minimum 50% marks as aggregate (45% of SC/ST candidates) Candidates must have a relevant subject in 10+2 to apply for any respective course. Candidates must be Indian citizens to appear for the CUET exam.

Is there a limit to the number of attempts for CUET?

There is no limit on how many times you can take the CUET. To take the CUET, candidates must comply with the eligibility conditions. The criteria for CUET eligibility are set by each of the participating universities. Admissions will likely be determined only by CUET and Class 12 board test results.

Is CUET conducted once or twice a year?

The CUET exam, introduced in 2022, is the main entrance test for central universities in India. It happens once a year for both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses.

Is there any sample paper available for CUET?

CUET 2024 Registration: NTA has started CUET 2024 Registration on February 27. The last date to submit CUET Application Form 2024 is March 26, 2024.
