IPMAT means Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test. The IPMAT exam is a challenging entrance exam for admission to dual degree Five Year Integrated Programme in Management (BBA+MBA) programmes at IIM Indore, IIM Ranchi, IIM Rohtak, IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya, and other premier business schools in India such as IIFT Kakinada, Nirma Ahmedabad, TAPMI Bengaluru, Alliance Bengaluru, NALSAR Hyderabad, etc.
If any student intends to exit after successfully completing the programme requirement at the end of 3 years, he/she will be awarded a BBA degree. After completing the BBA degree, students will be advanced to the MBA curriculum without having to take the CAT or any other entrance.
For students who have passed XII or appeared for XII boards in 2025, the Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) presents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to earn an integrated BBA + MBA degree from prestigious institutions like the IIMs and several other top B-schools.
While there is no age limit for JIPMAT (IIM Jammu and IIM Bodhgaya), IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak have an age limit of 20 years for general category candidates.
All IPM based entrances-IPMAT (IIM Indore); IPMAT (IIM Rohtak) and JIPMAT are online/computer-based tests.
